Fassung, zulässige Leistung und Kennzeichnung der konkreten Leuchte beachten; bei unklaren Angaben vor Verwendung nachfragen. Stabil aufstellen, nicht abdecken und Abstand zwischen Leuchtmittel, Schirm und Dekoration halten. Kabel nicht quetschen oder über scharfe Kanten führen.
Vor Reinigung, Schirm- oder Leuchtmittelwechsel ausschalten, Netzstecker ziehen und abkühlen lassen. Flasche vorsichtig mit einem weichen Tuch reinigen, Schirm trocken entstauben und elektrische Teile trocken halten. Beschädigte Leuchten, Kabel oder Stecker nicht weiterverwenden; elektrische Reparaturen nur durch Fachkundige.
