Your Bottle Lamp
Use only LED bulbs
Our bottle lamps must only be operated with LED bulbs. Incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, energy-saving lamps (compact fluorescent lamps), and all other non-LED bulbs must not be used. In particular, incandescent and halogen bulbs are excluded due to their higher heat emission.
We recommend LED bulbs with an actual power consumption of up to 4 W for E14 and up to 7 W for E27. This refers to the actual electrical power consumption, not the incandescent bulb equivalent wattage stated on the packaging. LED filament bulbs count as LED bulbs.
These values are recommendations and not tested maximum permissible power limits. They do not replace product-specific power ratings. The labeling and safety instructions of your specific lamp remain the standard; any lower power limit specified there must be observed.
Depending on the model, your lamp has an E14 or E27 socket. The matching socket alone is not enough to select a bulb: also observe the maximum permissible power specified on your lamp and other product details.
Setting up and using
Place the lamp on a stable, level surface. Route the cable so that it is neither crushed nor a tripping hazard. Observe the indicated area of use and do not cover the lamp.
Changing bulbs
Switch off the lamp, unplug it from the mains, and let the lamp and bulb cool down. Use only an LED bulb that matches the socket, power limit, and labeling of your specific lamp. If these details are illegible or unclear, contact us before use.
Gentle cleaning
Before cleaning, switch off, disconnect from the power supply, and let cool down. Remove dust carefully with a soft, dry cloth. Do not moisten or immerse electrical parts in water. Use only LED bulbs that comply with the labeling of your lamp.
CE marking of our lamps
Our finished lamps bear a CE mark. With this, Designeria as the manufacturer declares conformity with the applicable European requirements.

Electrics, shade, and modifications
Set up in a stable and tilt-proof manner. Do not cover the lamp; bulbs must not touch the shade or decoration. Do not crush cables or lead them over sharp edges. Before cleaning, changing the shade, or replacing the bulb, switch off, unplug the mains plug, and let it cool down. Keep electrical parts dry. Do not continue to use damaged lamps, cables, or plugs. No unauthorized modifications to electrical parts; repairs belong in expert hands.
In the event of smoke, unusual odors, or noticeable heat, stop use immediately. Disconnect the power supply only if it is safe to do so. In the event of fire or acute danger, keep your distance and call emergency services.
Keep or store these instructions and include them if you pass on the lamp. Place products and cables so that children or pets cannot pull them down.
Glass and Concrete
Clean surfaces carefully with a soft cloth. Avoid scouring agents, aggressive cleaners, and hard brushes. Do not put in the dishwasher unless expressly approved for the specific object. Avoid standing water on sensitive furniture.
Glass breakage, heat, and intended use
Check for cracks, chips, and sharp edges before use; do not continue to use damaged glass objects. Avoid impacts and sudden temperature changes. Do not heat or fill with boiling liquids unless expressly intended for the specific model. Only use for food, beverages, dishwasher, or open flames if this use is expressly stated. Individual glass-concrete objects can additionally be used as candle holders if this is expressly stated for the specific product. In this case, follow the instructions for lanterns and candle holders below.
Concrete containers and coasters
Our concrete products are water-repellent and equipped with a water- and oil-repellent surface protection.
Tested low-emission surface protection
We also focus on low emissions for surface finishing: the FILA surface protection we use is awarded the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold label. The certification confirms very low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) according to the requirements listed in the certificate – a plus for low-emission living. Clean by hand with a soft, dampened cloth and dry afterwards. Avoid scouring agents, aggressive cleaners, and hard brushes to preserve the surface protection. Only put in the dishwasher if expressly approved for the specific product.
Use on a stable surface. Remove spilled liquids from the surface. Do not use for hot cookware or open flames unless the specific model is expressly intended for this. In case of cracks, chips, or damaged surface protection, discontinue use and contact us.
Lanterns and Candle Holders
Fire and burn hazard: Only use open flames if the specific model is intended for this and the suitable type and size of candle are determined. In case of unclear information, use only a suitable LED light and ask us before lighting.
Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets and away from flammable materials and drafts. Use a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable base. Flames must not touch glass, wood, or decoration. Do not touch or move hot containers; let them cool down completely after extinguishing. Do not use glass with cracks or chips; do not cool hot glass with cold water. Observe candle instructions.
Wood and VinoBoxes
Wipe dry or with a only slightly dampened cloth and dry afterwards. Do not expose wood to moisture, intense heat, or direct sunlight for extended periods.
Handling VinoBoxes safely
Set up on a stable surface. Do not use as a seat, step, or toy. Watch your fingers when closing the lid. Carry a filled box by the base and do not lift by the lid or clasp. Keep away from open flames and strong heat sources; do not expose to moisture permanently.
Using safely
Use an object only for its expressly intended purpose. Use of glass-concrete objects as candle holders is only intended if this is expressly stated for the specific product; in that case, observe the instructions for the suitable candle and safe setup. For questions regarding care, spare parts, or suitable bulbs, contact us before use.
Damage and safe use
Do not continue to use damaged lamps, cables, or plugs. Disconnect the lamp from the mains and contact us. Repairs to electrical parts belong in expert hands. Observe the area of use specified for the respective product; suitability for outdoor areas, damp rooms, food contact, dishwasher, or open flames exists only if expressly stated for the specific product. Care instructions do not change your statutory warranty rights.
Misuse and legal rights
Damages caused exclusively by improper use after handover do not constitute a defect present at the time of handover. For claims for damages, culpable disregard of the safety instructions that is causal to the damage may be taken into account in accordance with statutory regulations. Statutory warranty rights, statutory rules on the burden of proof, and mandatory liability provisions remain unaffected. Failure to follow an instruction does not automatically lead to the loss of all claims.
