The most important answers regarding our design objects and custom commissions.
Are the lamps CE-marked or externally certified?
Yes, our fully assembled lamps bear a CE mark. With this, Designeria as the manufacturer declares conformity with applicable European requirements.
For the electrical equipment, we use CE-marked components wherever such marking is provided for. Their markings and certifications refer to the respective components. The CE marking of the finished lamp is provided by Designeria as the manufacturer.
There is no additional certification of the finished lamps by an independent testing body. The CE mark is a manufacturer's declaration of conformity and not an independent seal of approval.
Our lamps are handcrafted as individual pieces and in small series. Statutory requirements regarding safety and conformity remain unaffected.
Which sockets and power cables does Designeria use?
Depending on the bottle size, we use E14 or E27 sockets with threaded sleeves. The sockets are CE-marked and IMQ-certified according to manufacturer specifications. For the power cables, we use 2 × 0.75 mm² or 3 × 0.75 mm² cables with IMQ-HAR certification, depending on the model.
These markings and certifications refer to the respective components. The CE marking of the finished lamp is provided by Designeria as the manufacturer; no additional independent certification of the finished lamp is carried out.
Are all products identical?
Many objects are created as unique pieces or in small series. Grain, glass, and concrete may show variations. The images and details provided for the specific product are authoritative.
Can I provide my own bottle?
We are happy to check this. Please start by sending a description or a link to a photo.
Can I choose the lampshade or cable color?
For a custom bottle lamp, we will discuss possible combinations. Available materials and technical suitability will be confirmed before you place your order.
Is it possible to complete a commission by my desired date?
Please mention the date in your initial inquiry. We can only provide a binding commitment after reviewing the material and workload.
Can I request larger quantities?
Yes, via For Businesses. Please state the occasion, quantity, budget range, and deadline. Feasibility will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Which countries does Designeria ship to?
We deliver exclusively to shipping addresses in Austria and Germany.
How much are the shipping costs?
Free shipping within Austria on orders over €155, and to Germany on orders over €180. Below these thresholds, shipping costs apply; standard shipping costs €6.50 to Austria and €12.00 to Germany. Details can be found under Shipping and Delivery.
How do returns work?
Deadlines, the process, and return shipping costs can be found on the Cancellation and Returns page. Legal exceptions may apply to goods actually manufactured according to customer specifications.
Which light sources am I allowed to use?
Use only LED light sources. Incandescent bulbs, halogen bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps, and other non-LED light sources must not be used. Incandescent and halogen bulbs are excluded primarily due to their higher heat emission.
We recommend a maximum of 4 W actual LED power consumption for E14 and up to 7 W for E27. These recommendations are not tested power limits. The suitable socket, product-specific permitted wattage, and the labeling of the specific lamp are authoritative; lower specified limits must be adhered to. If information is missing or unclear, please ask before use.
What applies in the event of improper use or damage?
Damage resulting exclusively from improper use after delivery does not constitute a defect present at the time of handover. For claims for damages, culpable disregard of safety instructions that is causative for the damage may be taken into account in accordance with statutory regulations. Statutory warranty rights, statutory rules on the burden of proof, and mandatory liability provisions remain unaffected. Failure to follow an instruction does not automatically lead to the loss of all claims.
Do not continue using damaged products. Contact us with a description and, if possible, the product number and photos. This information facilitates the review; photos or original packaging are not a prerequisite for statutory consumer claims.
