How to safely return an order to Designeria.
Before returning
If you wish to exercise your legal right of withdrawal as a consumer, please send us a clear statement within the withdrawal period – the easiest way is via email to contact@designeria.at. Contacting us beforehand helps with allocation but is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of your right of withdrawal.

Packaging and proof of shipment
- Please ensure your return is sufficiently stamped and do not send it freight collect. Insufficiently stamped packages may incur additional, actual costs.
- Pack glass, lighting, and other fragile items securely for transport. If possible, you can reuse the packaging you received.
- We recommend insured shipping with tracking. Keep your proof of shipment and tracking number until the return process is complete.
- Please include your name and order number so that we can clearly allocate the return.
The original packaging and a reason for the return are not mandatory for exercising your legal right of withdrawal. You only have to pay for any loss in value if this loss is due to handling that was not necessary for checking the condition, properties, and functionality of the goods.
Return costs and refunds
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, provided the goods were delivered as agreed. In the event of an incorrect delivery, a defect, or transport damage, we will cover the return costs required under statutory warranty provisions. Please contact us to make arrangements; failure to notify us in advance does not eliminate your legal rights. Refunds are generally issued using the same payment method used for the original order.
Custom-made products
There is generally no legal right of withdrawal for goods that have been manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal requirements. A simple, handmade item kept in stock is not automatically excluded from being returned.
In case of damage or a safety issue
Do not continue to use damaged products. Switch off lamps and disconnect them from the power supply, provided it is safe to do so. Please describe the incident and, if possible, provide the product or order number; photos help with identification. Do not attempt any electrical repairs yourself. Photos, original packaging, and immediate notification are not prerequisites for legal consumer claims.
