Nur passend sitzende Stabkerzen verwenden, die aufrecht und sicher in der Aufnahme stehen. Auf einer ebenen, hitzebeständigen, nicht brennbaren Unterlage verwenden. Brennende Kerzen niemals unbeaufsichtigt lassen; von Kindern, Haustieren, Zugluft und brennbaren Materialien fernhalten. Die Sternschale frei von brennbarer Dekoration halten. Kerze rechtzeitig löschen, bevor die Flamme den Halter erreicht. Bei Rissen oder anderen Schäden nicht weiterverwenden.
Vor der Reinigung vollständig abkühlen lassen. Mit einem weichen, trockenen oder leicht angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen und anschließend abtrocknen. Scheuermittel, aggressive Reiniger und harte Bürsten vermeiden. Goldfarbene Flächen besonders behutsam reinigen.
