Sockets and cables in detail

Depending on the bottle size, we use E14 or E27 sockets. The technical data and markings below refer to the components used, according to their respective manufacturers.

E14 and E27 sockets

Both versions have a threaded jacket, screw terminals for solid or flexible conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 to 2.5 mm², and an M10 × 1 threaded hole for mounting. Rated socket voltage: 250 V AC. Marking: CE; certification: IMQ.

  • E14: diameter 28 mm, height 54 mm, ring diameter 44 mm.
  • E27: diameter 40 mm, height 54 mm, ring diameter 56 mm.

Power cable

Cable type according to manufacturer information: RC63, H03VV, 300/300 V, depending on the version 2 × 0.75 mm² or 3 × 0.75 mm². The cables are IMQ-HAR certified and double insulated. CEI 20-20, CEI 20-35 and RoHS are listed as conformity information.

  • 2 × 0.75 mm²: outer diameter 6.2 mm.
  • 3 × 0.75 mm²: outer diameter 6.6 mm.

The voltage figures are component ratings. For connection, permitted bulb and use, the marking and safety instructions of the specific Designeria light apply. The component information does not constitute certification or a protection class for the finished light.
